RPM-RM - RPM Respirator Monitor
The RPM Respirator Monitor adds wireless alarm notification to existing equipment, while offering the regular RPM vital signs monitoring. This application adds remote monitoring to a ventilator with the the RPM's SpO2 monitoring capability and allows attendants to work elsewhere knowing any alarm condition will be forwarded to their mobile device.
Extends the functionality of existing equipment
The RPM-RM uses a fail-safe system to monitor an alarm output from other equipment, e.g. pressure monitor, and a standard wifi network to report the alarm.
Wireless alarm system
Allows attending nurses to work elsewhere in the facility confident that any alarm condition would be brought to their attention through their nurse call system or mobile device (PDA, smartphone or Blackberry).
Safe remote monitoring
The alarms are sent to wireless and wired devices registered with the alarming equipment. All alarm activity is logged in a database and monitoring devices are monitored for connectivity.
Additional vital signs monitoring
The system provides ECG, SpO2, respiration rate, temperature and blood pressure monitoring as required, each parameter monitored for alarm condition and relayed to appropriate monitoring stations. |
